Message from the Colonel

Colonel Emmanuel

Colonel Emmanuel

Colonel Emmanuel began her policing career in January 1988 in Port Shepstone. Colonel Emmanuel, who holds a degree in policing, served in various departments in the SAP VZ, CSC, Crime Intelligence, Administration, Recruiting, Firearms Applications, Vehicle Crime Investigations, Umzimkhulu Area Detectives, Station Commander Paddock, Station Commander Hibberdene and is now Station Commander of SAP Westville.

“My message to the community as Station Commander of Westville, is that my staff and I will serve you with all the resources at our disposal. My predecessor has already laid a sound foundation and I intend to build on it.

The World Cup has brought much excitement to Westville and we welcome all visitors and hope that you have a pleasant stay. We have as yet had no FIFA related crimes. This can be attributed to the combined effort of all security forces as our resources have been stretched.

We also want to thank all security companies for their commitment in the fight against crime. A weekly-extended crime meeting is held at the police station to bring security companies together with the police to draw up strategies in the fight against crime.

On a personal note, I wish to thank the community of Westville for their warm welcome and I have been encouraged by the active participation and co-operation of the Westville Community Police Forum. “
